McCain chooses former female beauty queen as running mate. 

In a startling move, John McCain chooses a female vice president candidate in Alaska Governor, Sarah Palin.

To many Republican officials, this is a shocking move, as Palin is alot less known than Mitt Romney or Giuliani.  Palin is over 20 years younger than Joe Biden and 3 years younger than Barrack Obama.

Not sure if  this is a wise move, as Alaska is not that well know. But at least the Obama campaign can not produce videos of the republican vice presidential candidate attacking the presidential candidate and vice versa.

Senator Joe Biden is selected as Democratic Vice presidential candidate

A strong Democratic party official says that Barrack Obama has selected Joe Biden as his vice presidential running mate. However, the text message has not been sent out yet. So, it appears that the text message is not the first method of vice presidential selection notification after all.

Senator Biden has a very strong experience in foreign policy and defense. His extensive experience would make up for Obama inexperience in those areas. This selection would make alot sense.

Is it possible to not know how many houses you own?

If you are the Replublican US presidential nominee, the answer is “Yes”.

After saying the definition of rich is $5 million, Senator McCain did not know how many houses he owned when was asked that question by a reporter. He redirected the question to one of his aids, whom said it was 4 houses. But even his aid got it wrong. The total number of houses John McCain owns is 7!

Wow…the democrats and Barrack Obama are gonna have a field day with this…

Advantage? – Depends how each party spins it. (1) Democratics can say McCain is out of touch with the average American who earns about $45,000 a year. or (2) the Republicans can say that John McCain is sooo focused on serving the American Public that he doesn’t really care how many houses he owns. It the people that he cares about the most.

It appears that Barrack Obama never did consider Hillary Clinton for the potential Vice Presidential position.

While there can be a numberous reasons why Obama would not pick Hillary as his running, (i.e. bitter primary battles, the Bill Clinton Factors, Hillary may seem too strong…the list go on and on), but not giving Hillary a bit a consideration for the Vice President position may seem a bit arrogant.

Sources close to the Democratic Party indicate that the Obama Campaign never vetted Senator Clinton. The two never had a conversation about being the running mate.  This is huge contrast to what Obama had told “Meet the Press” that Senator Clinton “would be on anyone’s short list.” Hmmm, appearantly not on his!!!

Advantage – Not really sure, but one thing is for sure, Hillary supporter would not be happy about it.

Chet Edwards for Vice President?

Just exactly who is Chet Edwards? And why has his name become so relevant?

There has been a unconfirmed reports that Barrack Obama may have picked Chet Edwards (not Chad Edwards) as his vice presidential running mate.  Chet Edwards (no relations to John Edwards) has immerged from no where to be the most speculated democratic presidential vice president.

Not much is known about Chet Edwards, but he is a congressman from Texas (Yes, the home state of George W Bush).  He reps the 17th congressional district of Texas. First elected to the United State Congress in 1990.

He is chairs the Military Contruction and Veteran Affairs Appropriation Subcommittee. He is “known as a national champion for America’s veterans, troops, and their families.”

No wonder Obama may consider him strongly, as he lack military experience compared to Senator McCain.

Advantage? – Chet Edwards
