Why is this big news? It is because Bristol is only 17-years-old and she is unmarried. This is somewhat different from the believes of the conservative republicans. And this also is a huge blow to the McCain campaign as it is entirely unexpected. Unless this is the campaigns definition of shock value to stay on the headlines, this can’t be good to the campaign, as it has undoubtedly need to explain the occurence.
On another note, McCain and Palin at both pro life and the Bristol Palin has chosen to has the baby and not an abortion. This fall in line with Republican believes.
